Cruise organiser Peter Greaves makes an attentive listener.

A sell out for the River Trip on the hottest day of the year!
A full complement piled aboard the Nottingham Princess for the trip on the Trent. A disco accompanied barbecued steak, chicken, and burgers, plus whatever liquid took one's fancy: there was a well stocked bar. First time cruiser Eddie Maxwell pulled out the winning raffle ticket for a weekend in the Bridal Suite at the Midland Hotel Mansfield.

Golf at Morley
Over 60 played for the Martin Black Salver and the Castrol Pairs Cup. Both Trophies ended up with J.C. Balls & Sons. Hays Montrose also did well: the Individual, (best Stableford), and fourth places were from the Hays Montrose team of M Hamlyn and Mr. Burton.
